Jo & Joe Atelier was founded in July 2023, by Jo Durkin and Joe Teare. Jo & Joe started working together in 2018 and found that they had similar thoughts in regard to design and the construction of garments. After working for some incredible designers in Liverpool, they decided to take the leap and pour their motivation and ambitions into starting their own brand by designing garments which represent their unique POV on fashion. 

 

"I made my first wedding dress at aged 20. It was my wedding dress and here we are still married" - Girl Jo. 

"My passion for dressmaking came from watching my mum. Every weekend I'd watch her sew and this ignited my love for creating." - Boy Joe.

Every item from Jo & Joe Atelier, is designed, cut and made by us, Jo Durkin & Joe Teare, in our Liverpool based studio. We take great pride in our craft and strive to produce high quality products that will last for years to come.
